Belingual Language Clubs are fun way for multilingual children and their families to get together in their own home language. One club meeting lasts about two hours, during which you can play, sing, do crafts, bake and much more. Our clubs give children the chance to experience their own home language and culture in community. Our aim is that children will develop a positive and warm relationship with their home language and culture.

The clubs bring families together to play, sing, do crafts and have fun together in different languages. The themes and topics of the clubs are planned together with the club members.
The clubs support the development of children's language and balanced identity and give families the opportunity to experience their language and culture in the community. For Whom? Where? and How? Belingual clubs run during the spring and autumn season (January - May and August - November). The clubs meet either every other week, or once a month for two hours. The groups usually have 5-10 families. The whole family participates in the club and children must always be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian. The themes of the clubs, the meeting places depend on the wishes of the club leaders. Belingual clubs are currently free of charge, but some clubs may have a small material fee. The clubs are open to all multilingual families. Belingual clubs are aimed at families with children under school age, but the whole family is welcome and some clubs are also aimed at older children. Check here for club details. The clubs also serve as a meeting place where families can get to know each other. The level of language skills of children and parents does not matter, as long as the family uses the club language as their home language or want to strengthen their children's relationship with their home language and culture. Parents who do not speak the club language are also welcome to join in learning with their children. We meet each other where we are and learn together. |

Belingual labBilingual Lab is a peer-to-peer workshop for parents of bi-cultural families on multilingualism and raising a multilingual child. We organise the workshop three times a year.
The workshop is aimed for parents of multilingual children under school age. During the workshop you will learn about research on multilingualism and share and discuss your own experiences with other participants.
