  • There are no specific words of the day today - let the toys guide you! In a circle, ask each child to show their toy and ask the child what the toy is, encourage all the other children to repeat the words.  Each child introduces their own toy. The aim is that each child comes up with the words themselves and you wait until everyone has repeated. The children can help each other and learn from each other.  Use this as an opportunity to recap on color words, describe the toys together etc.

  • After about 35mins, you can return to the club space or if there is an outdoors area, you can also enjoy your snacks together outside.

FOR YOUNGER KIDS:
If you have children who still need to move around in a stroller (this is parents’ choice), make sure that the route through to and through the forest/park is manageable with a stroller. Also take into consideration any mobility issues, walk slowly if needed and do a shorter walk/trip.
