Divorce in multicultural families can be complex, and even authorities do not always have the answers. By raising awareness, we can protect families and children and reduce the burden on society. This project is funded by the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County (LUVN).

The training is intended for volunteers, professionals, and members of multicultural communities who are active in the Western Uusimaa (LUVN) region. It also provides information about local authorities and support services. Trained ambassadors may share their cultural perspectives directly with LUVN staff. If you hold info sessions in the LUVN region in 2025, you will receive paid compensation!

- You already have strong networks within your community. For example, people may rely on you for advice and support in difficult life situations
- You have knowledge and experience of Finnish society
- You are ready to discuss sensitive topics such as divorce and consider cultural points of view
- You are able to hold at least one info session group during the year 2025

- Legal & financial matters
- Child welfare & custody
- Conflict resolution
- Cultural differences & parental child abduction risks
