racism and discrimination experienced by intercultural couples and families in finland
Our report on the racism and discrimination experienced by intercultural couples and families in Finland has been published! 18.3.26
We carried out a survey in 2025 to gather information about the racism and discrimination intercultural couples and families have faced in Finland. We have now published a report based on the survey. Based on the survey intercultural couples and families have to often deal with racism and discrimination.
The survey had 127 respondents in total, and the respondents were split evenly between those who have moved to Finland and Finns living in intercultural relationships. The majority of respondents had children and they were asked about their children's experiences as well. You can find the whole report in English on the left.
We continue our work for an anti-racist Finland, and the equal treatment of intercultural couples and families living in Finland.
