Familia's 2023 Parliamentary Elections Panel Discussion
Familia ry hosted an online Finnish parliamentary elections panel discussion in English on Monday 20 March.
The overarching theme of discussion was Finland as the home for intercultural families. The event was open to everyone, and the audience had the opportunity to ask questions. The event was be held on Zoom and streamed live through our Facebook page. All invited panelists are candidates in the 2023 Finnish parliamentary elections. Topics of discussion include among others state services from the point of view of intercultural families, immigration policy, as well as integration and employment. The number of intercultural couples and families in Finland has quadrupled in three decades, and currently, there are over 94,000 intercultural families in the country.
