Family camps with lasten kesä ryFamilia and Lasten Kesä ry offer family camps in 2021 for families with kids. Lasten Kesä is a children’s charity founded in 1952 that organises holiday activities for children and young people during school holidays all year round. Holiday activities, typically summer camps, are valuable child protection work that has a positive impact on the wellbeing of families and campers alike. Despite the child protection label the camps are open to all children and families. At the camps children can do fun activities with dependable adults whilst the adults in the family can have a breather at home or concentrate on their work.
The camps are attended by a professional team of experienced instructors of Lasten Kesä who take care of the program and enjoyment. Familia will provide program for parents during the weekend (e.g. peer support moment or lecture of certain topic related to parenthood). During the program for adults, camp instructors take care of the children so parents can focus on conversations in peace. Lasten Kesä ry is responsible for registering for to the camps, billing, maintenance and for the camp program. |
